Marbel Universal Trading Incorporated was born from a challenge of the times.

When Chiu Kim Enterprises, the parent company expanded its business operations, the need was seen by its incorporators to break it down to a more focused management. Thus, Marbel Universal Trading, Inc. became a stock corporation incorporated on May 15, 1989. It started with the fast growing bike business, along with supply of motorcycle parts and accessories.

Adhering to fairness, innovation and integrity that the Chiu Kim Enterprises, Inc. established and the far-reaching vision of its incorporators, it created a wide lead in business that prompted its incorporators to publicly launch the Company on August 27, 1994. Since then, business experienced upsurge in demand despite stiff competition.

In 1995, MUTI became the first Yamaha 3S Shop in the Philippines and a dealer of Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, and lately, Motorstar and Skygo motorcycle units. MUTI became synonymous with quality motorcycle and bicycle products, efficient service and an array of choices for the convenience of the buying public. To encourage sales, a mechanism was devised to allow affordability of the products the company carries, hence, the birth of a financing arm.

At present the corporation's business has grown considerably, a feat unparalleled considering its humble beginnings. It has distribution centers in strategic areas in Koronadal City, General Santos City, Tacurong City, Toril , Davao City, Digos City, Isulan in Sultan Kudarat, Surallah and Polomolok in South Cotabato and Sarangani.

Marbel Universal Trading, Inc. continues the tradition of a business with integrity and first-rate standard meant to give its clients the best service possible. It remains faithful to the steadfast ideals of Chiu Bun Gim, the patriarch of the Chiu family, and the commitment for social responsibility to make lives better for the community within its service area.
